Jillian and I were talking the other day about some of the aspects that have made this trip so special. The biggest thing we decided is all the wonderful people we’ve met along the way so we wanted to take this opportunity to thank some of those people now for going out of their way to make our trip that much more memorable..
-To our extended Fijian family (Captain Tuisue, Rosena, Miri, Josh & Family, etc) for being such amazing hosts to us and teaching us about the culture and feeding us such amazing food!
-To our cruise friends Andrea and Glenn from Toronto for 2 weeks of fun and laughs on the high seas and teaching us their travel secrets!
-To the friendly kids that greeted us with smiles in Japan and thought we were American celebrities.
-To the professor we met in Bangkok that taught us about the culture and gave us some great travel tips in Thailand and Cambodia.
-To the family we met in Cambodia for keeping us grounded and grateful for each and everything we have.
-To Rich, Thoks and the Impedula team in South Africa for an absolutely life-changing and remarkable experience serving God and the community in Kwa Zulu Natal.
-To our friend Norm for the wonderful friend and family contacts he gave us in South Africa which made our visit there so special
-To Helen and Neil in Cape Town South Africa who graciously showed us around the city and winelands with the feeling of family.
-To Ryan and Marie our travel companions in Europe who made each of the meals a culinary experience and who we have so many amazing stories with to talk about for many years to come.
-To our few/many blog followers (it’s hard to tell, honestly) that have been keeping up with our travels online and writing us funny comments to keep us going.
-And To our Lord Jesus for allowing us this opportunity to travel! We are grateful!
