Final Few Days in Fiji

Bula Vinaka,

Well, the Fiji portion of the trip is officially over but the last few days were pretty amazing! On Tuesday we visited the "Garden of the Sleeping Giant" which is an orchid farm up in the lush hillside 20 minutes outside of town. There were lily pounds and hundreds of different kinds of ochids plants which we can't wait to share photos of (sean thinks he is becoming a professional photographer, not kidding). In the evening, we went to Ohana (local fijian rest) which Pate's uncle owns and we had the opportunity to try the famous Kokoda. It was another great family dinner with Rosena, Tui, Miri, Josh, Pulotu and the rest of the family.

On Wednesday we took a boat ride back to Beachcomber Island for the whole day. This has to be one of the most beautfiul places on Earth!!! And the pictures speak for themselves yet at the same time don't do it justice. This should be on everyone's must see list. Our final evening was spent at a great Japanese teppanyaki restaurant where they cooked the food in front of us - definitely one of Sean's favorites.

Next blog will be from New Zealand. Hope all is well back home.

Sean & Jillian
