A Warm Welcome to Prague (Praha), Czech Rep.

Prague is a beautiful city! An impressive skyline with its many cathedral and castles with huge spiral towers. Apparently, its called the Rome of the North.

We learned another lesson about always keeping your guard up when traveling. We were ready to get to our hotel so the four of us hopped into a taxi from the train station. The taxi drivers had huge biceps and necks - they looked like they were part of the Mafia or Rugby players (or ex-WWE wrestlers). They were friendly and told us it would be about a 5-10 minute cab ride to our hotel by meter. The meter started ticking rapidly and that’s when I started to panic. Basically, it was a $35 cab ride via the scenic route taking a big loop around to our hotel. But, when we arrived at the hotel we could actually see the train station just down the street. Needless to say we were very frustrated as it was less about the money and more about the principle of some guy taking advantage of us. Sean wanted to go back the next day and have a tag team match with the taxi drivers but Ryan talked some sense into him.
