The City of Love

The Kookies weren’t the only ones visiting the romantic spots of Paris. Jillian and I found some great places, and enjoyed being immersed in the Parisian culture. At the same time, we felt that some places had become too touristy with many street vendors trying to sell you stuff from every direction. The city was still romantic nonetheless.

The people in Paris were much friendlier than anticipated, and even though our French was limited to “bounjour,” “oui,” and “merci” we were treated very well.

It’s hard to top being at the Eiffel Tower at night sitting on the grass when the whole tower is illuminated and sparkles for 5-10 minutes - a beautiful sight! It’s also hard to capture in a photo, so you’ll have to see it for yourself…
